I started playing Warhammer Fantasy at age 14 – 8 years ago now. It was summer and I was completely overwhelmed and in love with the game. I started off with Skaven – though my first choice would have been the awesome Woodelves, had they been out at the time. Slowly I got a little more experienced, and started using Tomb Kings and occasionally Orcs. Being a poor student never helped much in the way of buying models, although many of my friends were quite nice and let me use proxies. Lots of proxies. One of the aims of this site is for me to put up and good deals I find online to be able to bring you people cheaper 40k miniature offers (and myself if I like anything )

Since the last year or two of University (about 3 years ago) I developed a keen interest into 40k. While many people (or rather, many Fantasy players) say that 40k is childish, I think 40k is more flexible and fun, and perhaps a bit less “representative”, so to speak. While Fantasy simulates events and conditions for a whole unit, thus treating a unit as single model almost, 40k tends to give importance to each and every model. Both systems have their good and bad point really… I just like my eldar army more at the moment
