This is a really good idea for giving your 40k army that something extra! Such a simple idea and yet so good. Unfortunately many people in the 40k miniatures world (and beyond) seem to think that a model is finished when the figure is painting. Basing goes out of the window. With this trick your 40k models will attract adjectives such as “awesome” and “coool”. And all because you added a little cut up piece of mini sprue you were going to throw away anyway.
