If you want a job as a miniatures designer (including 40k miniatures, fantasy, and Lord of the Rings, terrain, specialist games, etc.) then this is your chance to get in! Game Workshop’s Forge World is currently looking for new full-time or freelance Model Designers for the miniatures.
For the unitiated, ForgeWorld is one of Games Workshop’s subsidiaries, and produces high quality models. For Warhammer 40k, the models are usually those of special units, monsters or tanks which have their own special rules (and are usually quite large in size). They also make several variations of normal infantry figures, as well as busts, decorative figures, and 40k miniatures terrain pieces. You could call them the special ops. division of Games Workshop.
If you are able to produce models of this quality:
… and if you’re prepared to live in or close to Nottingham or travel there frequently, then they’d be more than happy to give you an interview.
