Guess who's back in town?
According to Bell of Lost Souls, there might be a possibility that, since Codex Tyranids is going to be released early in 2010 (Jan 16th), this might leave Games Workshop just enough time to release not 3 but 4 Warhammer 40k codices this year. That means plenty of Warhammer 40k miniatures too.
Interesting enough. However, the big news is that there have been hintings down the pipes of a slight, nay, a minuscule chance that the Dark Eldar might be in line for publication this very next year, at the end of 2010.
That would mean the Dark Eldar, long consigned to second-class citizenship by Games Workshop, finally finding themselves with a new codex and a spanking new range of miniatures. That would be quite something.
Comments to this rumour have been positive, although some have concerns that releasing 4 codices instead of 3 will mean thinner, less well finished codices. Fair enough. That said, Dark Eldar fans have been waiting soo long…
This is, of course just a rumour, but it seems to have come from a stronger,if more unusual, source than expected, according to the author back at BoLS.
If rumours are correct then we have the following schedule for 2010:
- Tyranids
- Blood Angels
- Black Templars
- Dark Eldar
In that order.
May the rumours hold true!
